- BABC Partner Dinetia Newman will be inducted as President of the AHLA. In her role this year as President-Elect of the AHLA, she has chaired the Program Committee for the Chicago Annual Meeting.
- Partner Amy Leopard, who serves as Vice Chair of the AHLA’s Health Information and Technology practice group, will speak on the subject of health and information technology issues for ACOs in her presentation, “ACOs Nuts and Bolts: Critical Development, Implementation, Operation and Legal Issues - Part 2.”
- Partner Jack Selden will cover white collar crime and compliance issues in the health care industry in his discussion of “Keeping It Civil: Avoiding Criminal Prosecution and Exclusion.”
- Partner Andrew Murray has been appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the AHLA’s Hospitals and Health Systems Practice Group for his third year in this position. Andy and Amy Leopard will participate in the Chicago Annual Meeting’s AHLA Practice Group training on Saturday, June 23.
