Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that 15 first-year associates have joined the firm’s Birmingham office this fall.

The new first-year associates in Birmingham:
Hillary L. Chinigo will serve as a member of the Litigation practice group. During law school, she worked as an intern for the Honorable R. David Proctor of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama, and for the Honorable Paul W. Greene, U.S. Magistrate Judge, Northern District of Alabama. She also worked for U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson. Ms. Chinigo holds a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
Mary Ann L. Couch joins the firm as a member of the Litigation practice group. Ms. Couch was a summer associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. She holds a J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law. She also has a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
Anna L. Craft joins the firm as a member of the Litigation practice group. Previously a summer associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, Ms. Craft also served as a clerk with the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office in Columbiana, Ala. She holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. In addition, Ms. Craft has a B.A., summa cum laude, and a B.S., summa cum laude, from The University of Alabama.
Denetra N. Hartzog will serve as a member of the Real Estate and the Corporate and Securities practice groups. Ms. Hartzog worked as a summer associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. She holds a J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. In addition, she has an M.B.A. from the Brock School of Business at Samford University and a B.S., summa cum laude, from Auburn University.
Elizabeth C. Josephs will serve as a member of the Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups. During law school, Ms. Josephs was a summer associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. She holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. She also has a B.A. from Duke University in Durham, N.C., and Geneva, Switzerland. In addition, she studied at La Sorbonne: Université de Paris I, Université de Paris VII in Paris, France.
Jonathan R. Kolodziej joins the firm as a member of the Litigation practice group. Mr. Kolodziej was a summer associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. He holds a J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law. He also has a B.A., cum laude, from Villanova University.
Elliot J. Labovitz will serve as a member of the Health Care and the Corporate and Securities practice groups. Previously a summer associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, Mr. Labovitz also was an intern for the Honorable Myron H. Thompson of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, and for the Honorable R. David Proctor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Evelyn Diane McKinney will serve as a member of the Corporate and Securities practice group. Ms. She holds a J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Furman University.
Spencer R. Mobley will serve as a member of the Litigation practice group. Mr. Mobley previously was a summer associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings and served as a clerk for the Honorable J. Scott Vowell, presiding judge of the 10th Judicial Circuit. Mr. Mobley holds a J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law. He also has a B.A., summa cum laude, from Hampden-Sydney College.
J. Wilson Nash joins the firm as a member of the Litigation and the Construction and Procurement practice groups. Mr. Nash was a summer associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. He holds a J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. Nash also has a Master of International Studies from the University of Sydney and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Birmingham-Southern College.
J. Christopher Selman will serve as a member of both the Litigation and the Construction and Procurement practice groups. He holds a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and a B.S., magna cum laude, from Auburn University.
Alison Curran Smith joins the firm as a member of the Litigation practice group. Ms. Smith served as a summer intern for the Honorable Judge Karon O. Bowdre of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. She holds a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and a B.A., with honors, from Washington University.
Sean Michael Solomon will serve as a member of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Distressed Investing practice group. Mr. Solomon served as an intern for Judge Thomas A. Varlan of the Federal District Court in the Eastern District of Tennessee. He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.S., with high honors, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Richard K. Vann, Jr. joins the firm as a member of the Financial Services Litigation practice group. Mr. Vann served a summer externship with U.S. District Judge Keith Watkins of the Middle District of Alabama. He holds a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a B.S., cum laude, from Auburn University.
James P. Watkins will serve as a member of the Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Distressed Investing practice group. Mr. Watkins’ legal experience includes a legal department internship at HealthSouth Corporation. He holds a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a B.S., cum laude, from Auburn University.
