Chandler Combest is a partner in Bradley’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group. His practice focuses on public finance, including serving as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel on both tax-exempt and taxable financings throughout Alabama. He has worked with numerous types of public entities, including cities, counties, school boards, utility boards and state-level authorities. He also represents governmental entities in economic development matters. Chandler also has extensive experience in advising broker-dealers in a wide range of compliance and regulatory matters.

In addition to public finance, Chandler has experience representing both borrowers and lenders in commercial lending transactions, tax credit transactions, and state and federal regulatory compliance matters across a broad range of industries, including multifamily housing, retail, manufacturing and distributing, residential development, commercial and mixed-use development, healthcare, mortgage servicing and utilities.

Prior to rejoining Bradley, Chandler served as senior vice president and general counsel for the Frazer Lanier Company, where he was responsible for general operations of the firm, including daily management, training and supervision of soliciting, structuring, underwriting, selling and remarketing fixed-rate and variable-rate municipal and corporate debt offerings. While there, Chandler held Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 23 (General Securities Principal), Series 52 (Municipal Securities Representative), and Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law) licenses.
