Amy focuses her practice on the representation of hospitals, surgery centers, nursing homes, physicians and other health care providers in all types of litigation and dispute resolution, including medical malpractice and other professional negligence actions, administrative actions, regulatory compliance matters and managed care disputes. She regularly counsels health care providers in the handling of medical staff credentialing and peer review, operational issues and risk management.

Amy focuses her practice on the representation of hospitals, surgery centers, nursing homes, physicians and other health care providers in all types of litigation and dispute resolution, including medical malpractice and other professional negligence actions, administrative actions, regulatory compliance matters and managed care disputes. She regularly counsels health care providers in the handling of medical staff credentialing and peer review, operational issues and risk management.

Amy advises hospitals, surgery centers and other health care providers in the management of their medical staffs, providing guidance throughout the peer review process and handling all aspects of medical staff fair hearings and appeals. In addition to drafting medical staff bylaws and rules and regulations, Amy counsels providers regarding medical staff credentialing and appointment, reappointment, clinical privilege delineation and National Practitioner Data Bank and state reporting requirements.

In addition to her health care litigation work, Amy has defended commercial clients in negligence, products liability and other personal injury actions and in business disputes, including covenants not to compete, breach of contract and insurance coverage.
