Ann has represented clients in the mortgage and insurance industries in trial and appellate courts in over a dozen different states from Florida to Minnesota. Her mortgage cases involve numerous causes of action including mortgage related fees and services, FCRA, TILA, RESPA, RICO, and predatory lending. Furthermore, Ann has litigated numerous facets of the mortgage industry including loan origination, pooling and servicing agreements, loan repurchase disputes, servicing matters, and mortgage fraud. Ann has also represented mortgage companies before the Maryland Department of Financial Regulation.
Her insurance litigation experience includes complex litigation, including class actions, for life, health, and disability insurers, including agent lawsuits, coverage issues, bad faith, and fraud suits. Her insurance practice often includes ERISA coverage disputes in Federal court. Ann has also represented insurance companies in matters before the Florida Department of Financial Services.
