Bobby Poundstone is a litigator in the firm’s Montgomery office. Bobby frequently represents clients in litigation matters pending in Federal and State trial and appellate courts. He has experience in the courtroom and experience presenting oral arguments to the Alabama Supreme Court. Bobby’s practice covers a wide variety of litigation practice areas and clients. For example, he has represented tractor truck, automobile, lawn equipment, office equipment and golf cart manufacturers in products liability, warranty, contract and fraud cases. Bobby has defended numerous toxic tort cases alleging exposure to lead-based paint. He has also represented clients in bad faith cases, commercial disputes and financial services litigation.

Bobby is active both in the legal profession and in civic causes. He is a graduate of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum and the ABA AP Leadership Program. Bobby currently serves as the Programs Co-Chair for the ABA Section of Litigation’s Pretrial Practice and Discovery Committee. Bobby has also served two terms on the Auburn University Trustee Selection Committee and as President of the Montgomery Auburn Club, which is the Montgomery County chapter of the Auburn University Alumni Association. He is currently serving a four year term on the Auburn University Alumni Association’s National Board of Directors.
Bobby was born and raised in Montgomery and has been practicing law in Montgomery since 1999. Bobby’s wife, Katie, is also a Montgomery native. Bobby and Katie are the proud parents of their two children, John and Claire.
