Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to welcome two Corporate & Finance attorneys, Stephen M. Wilson and Wendy R. Mullins, to its Jackson, MS office. Wilson will be a partner at the firm, and Mullins will serve as special counsel. With this addition, Mullins and Wilson will expand Jackson’s client service offerings by practicing corporate and business law.
Wilson comes to the firm from Jackson, Mississippi based Phelps Dunbar LLP. His practice primarily focuses on corporate transactional work, including construction contract counseling, business and tax planning, and lending transactions. He represents owners, contractors and lenders on construction matters; buyers and sellers in asset purchase, stock purchase, and merger transactions; corporations with ongoing contractual, tax, and business planning needs; and financial institutions in corporate and regulatory matters, and commercial lending transactions. Steve has also served as bond counsel, trustee counsel, issuer's counsel, and company counsel on a number of bond issues, both taxable and nontaxable, including state economic development incentive financing and planning issues.
Mullins also comes to the firm from Phelps Dunbar LLP, where she served as counsel with Wilson. Her practice primarily focuses on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, assignments and/or the leasing of real and personal property, intellectual property, commercial finance, construction, and general corporate advice. Wendy has advised clients on issues involving the Uniform Commercial Code, the Securities and Exchange Commission and has assisted clients with trademark registrations at both the Mississippi Secretary of State's Office and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She has also represented clients in arbitration matters conducted under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. In addition, Wendy has a vast amount of experience in corporate drafting, including employment, shareholder, subscription, confidentiality, stock and asset purchase agreements, as well as deeds, bills of sale, promissory notes and related transaction documents.

Wilson holds a J.D., from the University of Mississippi, an L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeast Louisiana University.
Mullins holds a J.D., with distinction, from Mississippi College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
