Charlie Beavers is a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. His primary areas of practice include the acquisition, sale and development of real properties, including rezonings, subdivisions and other land use matters before elected governing councils and commissions and before appointed boards and committees. These matters have included residential and office condominiums, automobile dealerships, mixed-use town center projects, office parks, large residential communities with mixed densities, nursing homes and independent living facilities for the elderly. Charlie also regularly represents property owners in condemnation proceedings and is experienced in municipal annexations. He has served as the Chairman of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Section of the Alabama State Bar Association. Charlie is listed in Best Lawyers in America and in Chambers USA (America’s Leading Lawyers for Business), and is a member of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and the Alabama Law Institute.

Charlie has served on the Board of Directors of Impact Family Counseling, which provides counseling services to youthful offenders and their families; has served on the Board of Directors of the Alabama District of the Kairos Prison Ministry; and serves on the Board of Directors of the Birmingham Chapter of the Christian Legal Society.
