Trey is an associate in the firm’s Birmingham office and is a member of the Economic Development and Tax Practice Groups. Trey concentrates his practice primarily in the area of economic development where he assists business clients in the site selection and incentive negotiation and implementation process. Trey also assists his clients in connection with various transactional and tax matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, corporate governance, and business planning.

A portion of Trey’s practice is dedicated to the representation of taxpayers in all phases of federal, state, and local tax controversy, including audit assistance, administrative hearings, and litigation. Trey also helps nonprofit clients obtain and maintain tax-exempt status.
