David is a Partner in the firm’s Nashville office and a member of the firm’s Health Care team. David practices primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate involving hospitals and other health care businesses. During the past 15 years, David has represented numerous publicly-traded and privately-held health care companies in transactions involving the purchase, sale or lease of more than 200 hospitals across the country with a combined value of more than $5 billion. David regularly represents health care companies in all aspects of their real estate operations, including the purchase and sale of commercial real estate and the development and leasing of medical office buildings and other health care-related facilities. David has also assisted borrowers in a number of large corporate financings, including syndicated senior revolving credit and term loan facilities and securitized real estate financings. In addition to his experience in the health care industry, David also represents clients in general corporate and partnership matters.
David graduated from Arizona State University in 1993 with a B.S. in Economics. He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1996. He is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American Bar Associations (Business and Health Law Sections) and the American Health Lawyers Association.
