Ethan Tidmore is a litigator with a primary focus in the areas of complex commercial litigation and creditor’s rights. His practice involves the representation of businesses and individuals in a broad range of trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts. Ethan routinely handles matters for national, regional, and community financial institutions, including creditor claims, lender liability, and trustee litigation.
Ethan is a leader in the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (YLD). He currently is serving a three-year term as the YLD’s Delegate-at-Large to the ABA’s House of Delegates. He is also serving on the Leadership Council of the ABA's Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. He previously served as the YLD’s Assembly Speaker, which is the second highest office in this 150,000 member organization. He also has served as the YLD’s Assembly Clerk (2008-09) and District Representative for Alabama and Georgia (2007-08).

Ethan graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2003. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in 1999 from the University of Alabama, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Ethan is the recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, the highest honor given to a University of Alabama student.
