George R. Parker

Partner
George Parker is a member of BABC’s Litigation Practice Group. Practicing in the firm's Montgomery office, George represents clients in a variety of matters in both state and federal courts. He has experience representing pharmaceutical companies, commercial real estate corporations, trucking companies, bus lines, insurance companies and their insureds, as well as multiple financial and credit institutions in matters involving credit card fraud and mortgage issues. George has also represented a restaurant chain in premises liability, product liability and employment matters. He has tried, arbitrated and mediated numerous cases for his clients.

George handles cases in multiple state and federal courts in Alabama. He has tried multiple jury trials to verdict and has handled multiple cases in arbitration. George represents clients in the following industries:

George recently received a 2-year appointment to serve as an ABA TIPS NOW Fellow. He has also been appointed as a vice chair member of the ABA TIPS Business Litigation Section. George has been very active in the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section, serving as its president in 2007-2008 and as a member of its executive committee from 2003-2009. George served as a member of the Alabama Chief Justice’s Commission on Professionalism from 2007-2008, and currently serves as a member of the Alabama State Bar ALA Referral Committee and Alabama Lawyer Editorial Board. Additionally, he is an alumnus member of the house corporation of his college fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon at Auburn University and a board member of the Montgomery AU Club. He is a member of the Montgomery Academy Alumni Counsel, and he has served on the Children's Hospital Committee for the Future and the Board of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division (President 2002-2004). He was a member of the Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum class of 2007. He is active in several additional church and civic boards and committees. He and his wife Jessi have three daughters, Reese, Lucie and Mary Helen.
