Greer Cummings practices in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, financing, leasing, management and sale of real estate projects. He has significant experience representing German institutional investors, syndicators and individuals active in purchasing and financing investment grade properties throughout the United States.
Greer is recognized in the national publications The Best Lawyers in America® 2010, Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business 2009 and Mid-South Super Lawyers 2008 for his real estate practice.
He is a Trustee of the St. George's Episcopal Church Trust Fund and a former Director of the Belle Meade Plantation, Nashville Chapter of the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities. He also has served as and is currently a member of the Vestry of St. George's Episcopal Church and is a former Director of the Nashville Bar Association, a former Director of Recovery Residences of Nashville, Inc., a former Director and Secretary of the Cumberland Club of Nashville, a former Director and Secretary of the Belle Meade Country Club, and a former Director and President of the of the Montgomery Bell Academy Alumni Association. He has been involved for many years as a volunteer in the United Way allocations process, including service as a member of the Community Allocations and Planning Steering Committee.
