Joel Eckert assists the firm’s corporate and individual clients in a wide range of litigation matters including commercial, construction, and land use disputes. Joel has successfully defended clients in the health care industry in False Claims Act litigation.  Joel has also represented clients in the entertainment industry in various litigation matters and has assisted parents and children with education law-related issues. Joel also represented a youth soccer club in obtaining a temporary injunction allowing one of the club’s teams to advance to the next round of a state youth soccer tournament.

Joel received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in May 2006, where he served as the Notes Development Editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review. In 2006, Joel won the Carl J. Ruskowski Clinical Legal Education Award. He earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in Business and Economics from Wheaton College in 1999. Prior to law school, Joel worked in the office of Texas Senator Phil Gramm and as a coach for the basketball and tennis programs at Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania.
