John Mark is a member of the firm's Litigation and Construction Practice Groups. An engineer before going back to law school, John Mark enjoys solving problems and finds that litigation provides challenging and unique opportunities to do that every day. He has litigated in several states, including Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, and New York, and has substantial experience in products liability, trucking negligence, construction, accounting and legal malpractice, tax litigation, and general commercial litigation. John Mark handles all aspects of civil litigation and has successfully tried several cases to final judgment. Recently, John Mark was a member of the trial team that obtained a defense verdict in favor of a national tire manufacturer following a three-week jury trial. He was also a member of the trial team that secured a $2.9 billion dollar civil judgment against former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy.

John Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa, and their 7-year old daughter, Alex. His hobbies include road biking, running, and flyfishing.
