Jon represents clients in business transactions. His primary focus is on advising companies in the health care industry in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, securities and corporate finance matters, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and syndications.
Jon represents clients in business transactions. His primary focus is on advising companies in the health care industry in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, securities and corporate finance matters, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and syndications.
Jon's experience includes work with hospital systems, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers, cancer centers, and home health and hospice agencies. He works with clients to implement their growth and development strategies by structuring, negotiating and closing complex business transactions. Jon also advises clients on Hart-Scott-Rodino matters and related pre-merger antitrust issues.
Jon is the Vice Chair of the Firm’s Health Care Practice Group and is a member of the Firm’s Recruiting Committee. Jon earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2000 and served as Associate Editor of the Kentucky Law Journal. He earned his M.B.A. in 2000 and his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in 1995 from the University of Kentucky.
Jon is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Tennessee and is the former chair of the Corporate and Commercial Practice Committee of the Nashville Bar Association. He is also a member of the Tennessee, Kentucky and American Bar Associations and is a member of Leadership Health Care and the American Health Lawyers Association.
