Kathleen O’Beirne practices in the Firm’s litigation practice group and is a member of the financial services and insurance litigation team as well as the professional liability team. She primarily focuses on representing financial institutions, insurers and attorneys in civil litigation matters in both federal and state courts. Kathleen represents companies and individuals against a wide variety of claims, including the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act, Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, as well as claims for fraud, legal malpractice, breach of fiduciary duties, and wrongful foreclosure.

Kathleen is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Tennessee and has handled a wide range of pre-litigation and litigation matters throughout the country.
Kathleen is Chair-elect of the Board of Directors for the Women’s Fund of Mississippi, an advocacy and grantmaking organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and families in Mississippi.
