Kristi Wilcox

Associate
Kristi Wilcox joined the firm in 2011 as a Litigation Associate. She assists in a wide range of matters across the practice group. Kristi is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation team and focuses on commercial, entertainment, copyright, and trademark disputes.

Kristi Wilcox joined the firm in 2011 as a Litigation Associate. She assists in a wide range of matters across the practice group. Kristi is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation team and focuses on commercial, entertainment, copyright, and trademark disputes.

Kristi graduated magna cum laude from the Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law. During her time at Moritz, Kristi served on the Editorial Board of the Ohio State Law Journal. She also worked as the research assistant to an intellectual property faculty member where she researched cutting-edge, art law issues such as the Orphan Works problem highlighted by the Google Book Search class action litigation in the Second Circuit. Kristi also worked in Ohio State’s Civil Litigation clinic where she provided legal representation to indigent clients in foreclosure.

With a master’s degree in Arts Policy & Administration, Kristi offers a unique perspective to clients with copyright and trademark disputes. While earning her master’s degree, she taught American Art & Music Since 1945 at the Ohio State University.

    You May Not Know

    Kristi co-founded the Creative Campus Initiative at the University of Alabama. Kristi also loves to travel and has helped in the efforts to rescue the endangered leatherback sea turtle population in Costa Rica.
