Andrea C. Barach

Andrea has represented clients in a wide variety of business transactions in her 25 years of practice. In recent years, a major portion of her practice has been the representation of long term care providers in their efforts to obtain financing with very favorable economic terms under FHA insured loan programs. She has extensive experience assisting and guiding clients through the sometimes impenetrable mesh of requirements and bureaucratic regulations that govern FHA insured financing. In addition, she has represented clients in tax exempt bond transactions and other types of financing. She has years of experience in the acquisition and disposition of facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, behavioral health facilities, as well as entire companies, many of which are in the health care industry.

A separate part of her practice is the protection of clients’ valuable trademarks. Finally, in part as an outgrowth of the trademark practice, she has experience preparing and revising franchise disclosure documents for franchisors, since one of the most important assets in a franchise transaction is the valuable portfolio of trademarks offered by the franchisor to its franchisees.
