Parker regularly represents debtors and creditors in both bankruptcy cases, and out-of-court workouts and debt restructurings, much of which involves real estate loan workouts and other forms of secured lending.

In his representation of debtors and creditors, Parker is routinely involved in bankruptcy-related litigation in both state and federal court, including preference and fraudulent transfer actions, stay relief actions, non-dischargeability actions, mortgage-related litigation, and various state law creditor remedies, such as foreclosures, executions, garnishments, replevin and prejudgment seizures. He has also successfully represented lenders in both state and federal courts in obtaining the appointment of receivers over distressed commercial properties.
Parker also has experience in corporate bankruptcies under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, which representation includes briefing and litigating issues related to the use of cash collateral, sales of property outside the ordinary course of business, debtor-in-possession financing, and confirmation of liquidating plans and plans of reorganization.
Additionally, Parker represents commercial landlords in a broad range of matters, including lease negotiations, unlawful detainer proceedings, and rent collections.
