Tiffany deGruy is an associate in the firm's Birmingham office and is a member of the Business and Commercial Litigation Practice Group. She also serves on the firm’s Recruiting Committee. Since joining the firm, Tiffany has worked on a variety of cases in both federal and state courts throughout the country, working to achieve a favorable result on behalf of her clients. Additionally, Tiffany has extensive arbitration experience and has represented several clients in arbitration forums throughout the region. Representative cases span a diverse range of issues, including matters in the areas of commercial litigation, complex business litigation, contract disputes, real estate and landlord tenant disputes, insurance coverage disputes, matters involving the Dram Shop Act, collections and garnishment matters, representation of associations, environmental and mass tort issues, and employment related disputes.

Tiffany is actively involved in her community as evidenced through her pro bono work. Tiffany represents an Alabama Death Row inmate in a Rule 32 appeal. She is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyer Program; a volunteer for the Jefferson County District Court Clinic, assisting pro se parties; and a volunteer with the Homeless Experience Legal Protection Program, assisting the homeless with legal matters. Tiffany has represented indigent clients in several family law and general litigation matters in association with the Birmingham Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar.
Tiffany is a 2008 summa cum laude graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, she was an M. Leigh Harrison award recipient, a Hugo L. Black Scholar, an Editor for the Alabama Law Review, a member of the Order of the Coif and the National Trial Competition Advocacy Team, as well as a law school admissions ambassador. Prior to law school, Tiffany graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
