Virginia Patterson's law practice focuses on the corporate, business and securities area. Virginia advises clients on a wide variety of business issues, including organizational matters, corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, debt and equity financing and securities law compliance. In addition, Virginia has considerable experience in the area of debt restructuring, securitization transactions, formation of domestic and international joint ventures, licensing, and domestic and international product distribution matters, as well as business acquisitions involving targets who are either financially distressed or involved in domestic or foreign bankruptcy proceedings.

In order to provide targeted legal advice to the clients she serves, Virginia has become familiar with the issues involved in their particular industries. These clients are engaged in a broad range of business activities, including print and other media publishing, real estate development, finance, management and leasing, construction, banking, soft drink bottling and other beverage distribution, as well as various aspects of the biotechnology industry, manufacturing and retail activities.
