John Titus has extensive experience in proxy contests; mergers and reporting obligations of publicly traded companies; syndications of real estate partnerships, low-income housing investments and private investment companies; public and private offerings of equity and debt securities; acquisitions and dispositions of various businesses, including health care, radio broadcasting, cable television, financial institutions and other businesses; negotiating and documenting venture capital investments; and the formation of an SBIC.
He has lectured and instructed on Securities and Exchange Commission reporting requirements and has authored a number of articles on corporate and securities law matters. He is a former member of the New Member Ambassadors Committee of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. John is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Nashville Capital Network and a member of the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association.
