Steve Monk is a member of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. Steve's practice is primarily devoted to develop representational development work. Steve regularly represents clients in the annexation and zoning of properties for planned unit developments, traditional neighborhood developments and other mixed uses. Such representation includes preparation of developed plans for zoning, preparation of restrictive covenants, establishment of homeowners’/property owners’ associations, and all legal documentation relating to the development and sale of real estate for those clients.
Experience
Steve regularly represents clients in real estate development work. Steve has represented of some of the major real estate developments throughout Alabama including traditional neighborhood developments in Birmingham, Alabama and Huntsville, Alabama to various mixed use developments in and throughout the greater Birmingham-Hoover Alabama metropolitan area as well as in Fairhope, Alabama. Steve also has extensive experience with condominium work, particular with mixed-use condominiums.
